Objecten
zoals dit prachtige palazzo zijn zeldzaam; er is meestal al een koper
voor,
voordat er ook maar enige indicatie is dat ze te koop zijn. Dat laatste
gebeurt vaak, want historische objecten zoals dit blijven meestal
binnen
de marchigiaanse families en worden meestal geerfd. Wij zijn er dan ook

Het
object is een soort renaissance-kasteeltje, met alles wat daarbij
hoort:
grote gewelven onder de grond, met zelfs een “grotta”, een gewelfde
gang
onder de grond, die in vroegere tijden als koelruimte voor wijn en
levensmiddelen
werd gebruikt. Verder heeft het een uitkijktoren (ideaal om een terras
op te maken). Op de begane grond en de eerste verdieping bevinden zich
de hoge ontvangstzalen met gewelfde plafonds en grote open haarden.
Hier
werden eeuwen geleden de bals, ontvangsten en banketten, de trouw- en
doopfeesten
van de familie gehouden. Hoewel het op bepaalde plekken zeker noch
renoveerd
of gerestaureerd moet worden heeft dit eeuwenoude gebouw niets van zijn
oorspronkelijke charme en kracht verloren. Op de 1e en 2e
verdieping van het hoofdgebouw liggen een aantal ruime, heldere kamers
met manshoge ramen, ieder met een onvergetelijk uitzicht. Aan de
zuid-westzijde
van het object ligt een prachtige, volgroeide tuin met olijfbomen en
mediterrane
planten. Meer grond kan naar behoefte erbij gekocht worden.
Het
dorp Torre San Marco (genoemd naar de kerk van de heilige Marcus uit de
18e eeuw) ligt op een 340 m hoge heuvel en is omgeven door
stadsmuren,
die aan drie zijden het fundament voor dit eenmalige object vormen en
het
daarmee op een gigantische verdedigingstoren doen lijken. Direct in de
buurt is het klooster Santa Vittoria, gesticht in de 8e eeuw door
Franciscus
van Assisi en onlangs gerestaureerd. Het terracotta museum van Fratte
Rosa,
wereldberoemd vanwege haar pottenbakkerijen, is er in
ondergebracht.
De
verbindingen zijn goed, het vliegveld van Ancona-Falconara ligt op 40
minuten,
dat van Bologna-Forlií op 60 minuten met de auto. De badplaatsen
Fano en Senigallia, met veel flair, schone stranden, cultuur en een
historisch
verleden zijn in 25 minuten te bereiken. Naar Urbino
(universiteitsstad,
geboorteplaats van de schilder Rafael en vaak het “Florence van de
Marche”
genoemd) is het 30 minuten, net als naar Pesaro, waar de componist
Rossini
leefde en werkte en daarom beroemd om het jaarlijkse
zomer-operafestival.
Om te golfen rijdt U naar Cattolica (40 minuten) of naar Sirolo (60
minuten).
De interessante wijngebieden van de Marche (Verdicchio: Montecarotto en
Iesi; Rosso Conero en Rosso Piceno: Ancona) zijn met een half uur te
bereiken.
Dit
object leent zich voor commercieel gebruik, bijvoorbeeld als onderdeel
van een exclusief “country-hotel“ met een klein, maar fijn restaurant,
waarbij dit object tot zo’n 8-10 ruime wooneenheden van hoge kwaliteit

The
village of Torre San Marco (called after its eighteenth` century church
dedicated to the evangelist Marcus) settles on a hill in 340

altitude and is in parts surrounded by a city wall. This wall is the
fundament

Close to the
village
is the Monastry of Santa Vittoria founded by Francesco of Assisi in the
eighth century and ever since hosting important guests of Italian
