This here is
the classical "Borgo" which means a hamlet consisting of several buildings.
In this particular hamlet there are six buildings one of them - the main
building- could be inhabited at once - for the time beeing, but of course
not on a high level of luxury. The other buildings are all registered in
the land registry thus could be rebuilt or reconstructed as residential
buildings. All are built from pink an white cut stone and/ or a mixture
of stone and old bricks. One at the entrance of the hamlet stands separate
and has an own driveway. This could be split off the ensemble and sold
seperately in a second step in order to safe expenses.
The situation
of our hamlet is absolutely breathtaking. It stands isolated on a hilltop
with a 360-degree-view over a green valley, surrounded by villages, little
castles, other hills in a tipically mediterranean landscape.
In spite of the
hilly position it is protected against strong winds and has its own specific
micro-climate.
The other one
is on the same ground but lower down the hill on a plateau. It consists
of five buildings - one of them in a very good state of repair but not
ready for immediate occupation.
This romantic
place is of course particularly appropriate for an activity like "countryhouse"
, a romantic little hotel, a splendid restaurant or a cultural center.
Or of course for a group opf friends who wants to be close to each other.
It can be reached from the motorway within half an hour and from the airport
in 45 minutes
